Although we cannot compare each other, because apart from maintenance and price Harley-Davidson Street 750 would have a clear chit on every parameter, we have just made an attempt to check that whether Harley-Davidson is a good upgrade for Royal Enfield or not. Coming to the Street 750, as the name suggests it has a massive street presence. The bike comes with a beautiful engine, which is easy reviving and lovingly refined. With comfortable seating ergonomics and easy handling, Street 750 comes up as a decent motorcycle to ride.

Royal Enfield Classic 500

Royal Enfield was the name under which the Enfield Cycle Company made motorcycles, bicycles, lawnmowers andstationary engines. The legacy of weapons manufacture is reflected in the logo, a cannon, and their motto "Made like a gun, goes like a bullet". Use of the brand name Royal Enfield was licensed by The Crown in 1890. The originalRedditch, Worcestershire based company was sold to Norton-Villiers-Triumph (NVT) in 1968.

Royal Enfield produced bicycles at its Redditch factory until it closed in early 1967. The company's last new bicycle was the 'Revelation' small wheeler, which was released in 1965.^[1] Production of motorcycles ceased in 1970 and the company was dissolved in 1971.^[2]

In 1956 Enfield of India started assembling Bullet motorcycles under licence from UK components, and by 1962 were manufacturing complete bikes. Enfield of India bought the rights to use the Royal Enfield name in 1995. Royal Enfield production, based in Tiruvottiyur, Chennai, continues and Royal Enfield is now the oldest motorcycle brand in the world still in production with the Bullet model enjoying the longest motorcycle production run of all time.^[3][4] In May 2013 a new assembly facility was started at Oragadam, Chennai.^[5]

It is for the old-school buyer who prefers old-school styling and an old school riding experience. It maminly makes sense for the bullet fan.The Bullet 350 is the entry-level motorcycle from the Royal Enfield stable. It is also one of the oldest and longest selling Bullets on sale in India. Over the years it has evolved and still stays true to its essence of being an old-school cruiser. The Bullet 350 features retro dials with an analogue speedometer, ammeter, and a key slot on the console. There is no option for self-start or disc brakes. It is powered by an air-cooled 346cc single-cylinder four stroke engine churning out 19.8bhp and 28Nm of torque. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox with the gearlever now on the left side of the motorcycle. It can hit a top speed of 95 kmph (claimed). The Bullet 350 is 2,140mm long, 810mm wide, 1120 mm tall with a wheelbase of 1,370mm and it weighs 180kg. The Bullet 350 twinspark loses out on essentials like self-start, disc brakes and runs on crossply tyres but it is the cheapest Bullet money can buy. The Enfield 350 twinspark is priced at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). The Bullet 350 twinspark has no competition and is pretty much the lone warrior in its class.

The engine can deliver peak power of 27 2bhp at 5250rpm and maximum torque output of 41.3Nm. Thunderbird 350 & classic 350 is powered by single cylinder, 4 stoke, twin spark, air-cooled engine which can able to developmaximum power output of 19.8bhp at 5250rpm and maximum torque output of 28Nm at 4000rpm. Both the engine cc are the same.
